In 2016, Dom Esposito, a former CEO of a national CPA firm, decided to move from a 46-year career in public accounting into the next phase of his professional life – consulting to CPA firms. He launched a boutique advisory firm, ESPOSITO CEO2CEO, that provides advice to CEOs, managing partners and other senior partners of small and mid-sized CPA firms focused on the mid-market throughout the U.S. Actively led by Dom Esposito, the firm draws upon a network of diverse pool of consultants who are brought into assignments when needed. ESPOSITO CEO2CEO has significant experience in a myriad of practice management topics.

For the second year running, in 2020, ESPOSITO CEO2CEO was named as one of Inside Public Accounting’s Most Recommended Consulting Companies, a prestigious national listing of only ten firms.

Dom Esposito began his career with Price Waterhouse & Co. (now PwC) in 1969. He then moved to Grant Thornton LLP in 1979 and eventually rose to Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. firm and a Board member for the international firm Grant Thornton International). After a brief stint as Vice Chairman of BDO - U.S.A., Dom joined CohnReznick LLP as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board member and also held the position of National Practice and Growth Director. In 2015, Dom was appointed as an independent director of Ethan Allen Interiors, a New York Stock Exchange company with a distinctive brand that is recognized throughout the globe for quality furniture and interior design.

Over the years, Dom has helped to identify and integrate more than fifteen merger combinations — starting in 1990 with a large portion of Spicer & Oppenheim to the 2012 combination of J.H. Cohn and the Reznick Group —resulting in the tenth largest U.S. public accounting firm —CohnReznick.

Concurrent with the launch of ESPOSITO CEO2CEO, Dom, who was voted as one of the most influential people in the profession for two consecutive years by Accounting Today, one of the leading trade journals for the CPA profession, authored a book entitled “8 Steps to Great” which has become a primer for CEOs, managing partners and other senior partners. In 2020 he was named by Inside Public Accounting as one of the year's Most Recommended Consultants. Dom is a frequent speaker at industry events, and a guest columnist for accounting publications.

Anthony Zecca assists ESPOSITO CEO2CEO clients in strategy planning and managing strategy execution to attain targeted results, and often facilitates partner retreats focused on strategy, tactics, and firm and partner performance.

Anthony has significant experience in helping companies work through the various strategy, growth, organizational, profitability, management, and technology challenges large accounting firms often face. He spent over four decades of his career with CohnReznick LLP, most recently serving as the National Managing Partner in the Consulting Division. There he was responsible for strategic planning, financial results, both in terms of revenue and profits, team building/coaching and all other responsibilities of a CEO. Anthony was a Member of firm’s management committee and in that capacity involved in numerous projects relating to firm strategy, financial performance, partner issues, etc.

He is also an independent consultant to Whitman Business Advisors, and the CEO of Growth Path Partners LLC, which provides consulting services to accounting firms and technology firms on strategy, growth and change management.

Anthony has presented at conferences and client company retreats numerous times on strategy, growth, and leadership. In 2000, he was co-author of the book “The Performance Power Grid.” Anthony is a guest author for CPATrendlines and his most recently published book “Leading from the Edge” is available under their imprint.
